General Business Hours
Bakar Labs is open for tenants to use 24/7, 365. However, Bakar Labs staff is generally only available between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday through Friday. If you are going to be working outside these hours---or on a staff holiday---please check-in with another member of your team, and be aware of all the emergency contact information posted around the building.
Staff Holidays
As employees of UC Berkeley, Bakar Labs Staff observe the following holidays and will not be available on those days. If a holiday falls on a weekend, generally the staff holiday will fall on the prior Friday or following Monday. For specific dates on which each holiday will be observed, see the Events @ Bakar Labs Calendar.

Package Receiving and Loading Dock Hours
8:45am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Outside of these hours, the doors are locked and only available to those with keycard access. During holidays, the loading dock is also locked. If you are expecting to receive a delivery outside these hours or on a holiday, plan to meet your delivery person to guide them into the building.
Front Lobby and Guests
The front doors are always locked and only available to those who have keycard access.
If you are going to have guests, please check click here for the guest process. If you are going to have a guest arriving outside of normal business hours (9am to 5pm) please plan to meet them at the main lobby yourself.
