E-Waste Disposal

Bakar Labs cannot help in disposal of lab e-waste (except for used batteries -- collection jar is in the loading dock).

Here are some ideas:

1. Contact Clean Earth for disposal of lab equipment and other e-waste.

2. Contact ucsurplus@berkeley.edu.  Describe your e-waste and ask if they will take it.  You would need to make and appointment and drop it off at their facility in Richmond between 8:30am-3:30pm, M-F.

3. Contact the city of Berkeley at (510) 981-7270. Ask about e-waste drop-off locations for businesses.  

4. Consider contacting a used lab equipment company if your lab equipment can be re-used or repaired.
