The printer located in the Expansion can also be used to scan documents, as well as print from a USB drive rather than via internet. Here are a couple of different features:
1: Scan and Email
To scan a document and email it, you can use the following steps:
Click the "Email" button on the printer home screen
Enter the email addresses of all desired recipients and optionally change the Subject of the email and name of the document
This is an image of the printer screen interface for the "Scan and Email" function, showing the fields for recipients (like amyfarmer@berkeley.edu), subject, and the scanned file name.
3. Set your scan settings, put your document in the scanner and hit "Send" to scan and send the document. It will likely take a few minutes to show up in your inbox
2: Print from USB
To print directly from a USB drive, rather than by submitting a document wirelessly, use these steps:
Click the "Print From" button on the printer home screen
Input your company's accounting code when prompted
Select "USB" on the "Print From" screen that pops up
Select the document from your drive, adjust your print settings, and click "Print"
This is an image of a touchscreen prompt that appears after selecting "Print From," allowing the user to choose between printing Saved Jobs or documents stored on a USB drive.
