AV Guide for Bakar Labs Conference Rooms
Wireless Connection
Large Conference Rooms (310-Board Room, 318-Watermelon, 343-Pineapple)
Find the small Crestron monitor, located at the center of the table. This monitor will control AV.
Select “Present” (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
Select “Computers”
Select “Wireless”
The monitor will turn on (can take up to 1 min).
Look at the bottom left-hand side of the screen for “Present Using Wireless”. Enter the http://XXX.XXX.XX.XXX into any browser (eg. Chrome).
See steps 2-7 below.
Medium/Small Conference Rooms
The monitor should be on. If it is off, there is a power button on the back of the TV, lower right hand corner
Look at the bottom left-hand side of the screen for “Present Using Wireless”. Enter the http://XXX.XXX.XX.XXX into any browser (eg. Chrome)
If it is your first-time using Crestron you will need to download the Crestron AirMedia App. The webpage will prompt you to download the app. Once downloaded you may proceed with the following steps.

Click “Start Presenting”
**Note for mac users: The first time you launch Creston you must use Chrome. For future uses, your preferred browser will work***
“Open Crestron AirMedia” will pop up, click “Open Crestron AirMedia”
Enter the 4-digit code, found at the bottom left side of the monitor.
You are presenting! Audio can be control through the Crestron panel on your screen.
To disconnect: Click the “disconnect” button in the Crestron AirMedia panel on your screen.
HDMI Connection
Large Conference Rooms (310-Board Room, 318-Watermelon, 343-Pineapple)
Find the small Crestron monitor, located at the center of the table. This monitor will control AV.
Select “Present” (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
Select “Computers”
Select “Laptop”
Plug-in your computer using the HDMI cord, found in the center of the table (inside the central white container on the tabletop).
Your screen will appear on the TV screen (give the system up to 1 min to connect)
To disconnect, unplug your computer.
Click “Shutdown” in the upper right corner of the Creson monitor to power off the TV.
Medium/Small Conference Rooms
Ensure the TV screen is on. If it is on you will see the image below on the monitor, with the room name and number in the top left-hand side of the screen. If the screen is dark, the monitor is off. To turn it on find the power button on the back of the TV (button at lower right-hand corner)
Plug-in your computer using the HDMI cord, found in the center of the table (inside the central white container on the tabletop).
Your screen will appear on the TV screen (give the system up to 1 min to connect).
To disconnect, unplug your computer.
The TV will return to its default screen, shown above. Do not turn off the TV screen.
Hybrid Meeting (Video/Microphone/Speaker) Capabilities
Only available in Conference Room 310 (Board Room) and Conference Room 343 (Pineapple)
Find the small Crestron monitor, located at the center of the table. This monitor will control AV.
Select “Video Call” (located on the left-hand side of the screen). When you click video call the camera will power on, as indicated by the blue light at the base of the camera.
Note: Do not physically move the camera. If you need to control the image, please use the controls found on the crestron monitor. You can adjust the camera angle or zoom in/ out using this panel.
Plug-in your computer using the USB cord, found in the center of the table (inside the central white container on the tabletop).
Once plugged in, your computer will detect One Link Bridge a microphone, speaker and camera.
To prepare for a zoom meeting, you may open up zoom settings and set your camera, microphone and speaker to “One Link Bridge”
Zoom Settings > Video > Camera > Select “One Link Bridge”
Zoom Settings > Audio > Speaker > Select “One Link Bridge”
Zoom Settings > Audio > Microphone > Select “One Link Bridge”
When on a zoom meeting you may change your Camera/Speaker/Microphone using the “^” beside the Video/Microphone at the bottom of your screen.
