Troubleshooting Sit/Stand Desks

All of our workstations and cubicles are equipped with Sit/Stand desks that can be height adjusted. This article will highlight some issues that have occurred with these desks, and the ways to fix them yourself.

Desk Won't Raise

If your desk isn't able to be raised but can be lowered, this is likely because there is a small misalignment of the two sides of the desk. To resolve, clear all items, including your cabinet unit, from under the desk and lower the desk until it reaches the bottom. This should realign the sides and allow it to raise and lower again.

Desk Won't Move at All

If your desk isn't moving in either direction, try unplugging the black cord coming from the desk and leaving it unplugged for 30 seconds or so. Then re-plug the cord and see if the desk starts responding.
